The biohybrid™ pet waste bag is made of consumer recycled/traditional plastic and renewable plant starch. This combination provides the positives of renewable material with recycled products. The recycled plastic gets reused and the renewable starch lessens the carbon footprint of the final product. Our bags are a more environmentally friendly option compared to traditional plastic bags and potentially better than "biodegradable" bags, as those bags don't always degrade well in landfills. We know that for many dog parks and public spaces there is a constant struggle with funding. Budgets are tight and we want to help, so we supply these waste bags at no cost to our parks.
Also, we designed them to be easy to see to help encourage correct disposal of waste as well as to assist cleanup crews to spot bags that are accidentally dropped. It's important to keep our parks clean and prevents dog waste from contaminating our streams and watershed.
Bradford Pet Hospital's exclusive dog waste bags can be found at Heritage Dog Park and Indian Creek Trail in Olathe, KS, Stoll Off-Leash Dog Park and Coffee Creek Streamway Park in Overland Park, KS.
