Veterinary Receptionist
Veterinary Receptionist – Full-time
Bradford Pet Hospital | Olathe, KS
- Competitive, based on experience
- Mon–Fri 8:00am–5:30pm, rotating Saturday mornings.
Who we are
Bradford Pet Hospital is a locally owned veterinary clinic in Olathe, Kansas, where pets are treated as family — and we actually mean it. We are not a corporate chain churning patients through the door. We take our time, build real relationships with our clients, and create a space where both pets and their humans feel genuinely cared for.
We are looking for a full-time receptionist who gets that. Someone who wants to be part of a small, tight-knit team where your work actually matters.
What you will do
You are the first voice our clients hear and the first face they see. That is a big deal to us. Your day will include:
- Answering phones with warmth, and actually listening to what clients need
- Scheduling appointments and keeping things running smoothly
- Checking clients in and out, and processing payments
- Communicating with our veterinary team so nothing falls through the cracks
- Keeping the front desk organised and the lobby welcoming
- Being a calm, reassuring presence — even when things get hectic
Who you are
Let us be real about what we are looking for:
- You show up. On time, ready to work, with a good attitude. Every day.
- You can think on your feet. Phones ringing, client at the desk, dog barking in the back — you handle it.
- You are genuinely friendly. Not fake-customer-service friendly. Actually friendly.
- You leave your baggage at the door. We all have hard days, but when you are here, you are present.
- You are comfortable with computers. You do not need to be a tech wizard, but you can navigate scheduling software and basic office programs.
- You care about animals. That probably goes without saying, but we are saying it anyway.
Prior veterinary or medical reception experience is a plus, but attitude and reliability matter more to us than a perfect resume.
What we offer
- A supportive team that respects you and values your contribution
- A work environment that is not toxic — we know that is sadly rare in this industry
- The chance to build real relationships with clients and their pets
- Competitive pay based on experience
Bradford Pet Hospital is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity in our practice.
