Stress-Free Cat Grooming
Benefits of Grooming Cats
Many cats need help with regular grooming, but don’t always want to accept it. We offer grooming with or without sedation, always trying a gentle, stress-free approach first.
What does that mean?
Our groomers tailor their approach to each cat’s unique personality. If your cat becomes too anxious, we have sedative options available to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for all.
ย
Healthy Skin & Coat
Removes loose hairs, dirt & debri, preventing matting & redistributing natural oils!
Reduces Hairballs
Regular brushing prevents hair ingestion by removing loose hair!
Early Detection
Provides an opportunity to check for lumps, skin issues, fleas, & other health concerns!
Temperature & Circulation
Cats use their saliva to cool down. Brushing helps to distribute it evenly & stimulates blood flow, improving temperature regulation & overall health!
Deluxe Spa Package
Breeds with high-maintenance coats often require more than a standard groom. For many pets, we recommend upgrading to our Deluxe Package, which includes a blow out & deshed, nail dremel, and your choice of specialty shampoo.
This service is essential for double-coated dogs (like Huskies & Shepherds) to manage their undercoat and prevent overheating, and for specialty or curly-haired breeds (like Doodles & Poodles) to combat painful matting and dryness.
Benefits of Deshed Treatments & Shampoo
Maximum Undercoat Removal
Remove up to 80% of loose, dead undercoat, drastically reducing the hair left on your furniture &ย floors
Healthy Skin & Coat
Promotes healthy skin circulation & allows the coat to breathe, preventing painful matting & reducing the risk of hot spots & irritation

By removing excess hair & dander, you minimize the amount of pet allergens & collected pollen that circulate throughout your home

POPULAR QUESTIONS
Welcome To Our Family
How often should I schedule my dog for a groom?
The frequency depends entirely on your pet’s breed and coat type. We generally recommend:
Short-haired breeds (Labs, Beagles) every 6-8 weeks for de-shedding. Long or curly-haired breeds (Poodles, Doodles) every 4-6 weeks to prevent painful matting. All pets should have nail trims at least monthly.
Why is the pricing for grooming not listed on the website?
Grooming fees vary significantly based on four factors: the size and weight of your pet, the breed and coat type (short vs. curly/double-coated), the condition of the coat (matting requires extra time and fees), and the service requested. For an accurate quote, please contact us for an estimate or to schedule a consultation!
What happens if my pet is matted?
Severe matting is often painful for your pet. If a coat is significantly matted, we prioritize your pet’s comfort and safety, which means we cannot perform a standard cut or brush-out. Instead, we will recommend a necessary safety shave to gently remove the mats and prevent underlying skin irritation. Please note that this critical service will incur an additional fee due to the specialized time and care required.
Do I need an appointment for a walk-in nail trim?
We typically handle nail trims and anal gland expressions by appointment to ensure we have a groomer or technician available and minimize your pet’s wait time. Please call ahead to schedule or ask about same-day availability.
Can you groom my pet if they have behavioral issues or anxiety?
Yes, we specialize in grooming anxious or stressed pets! Our facility is staffed by veterinary professionals, allowing us to offer gentle handling techniques and medication when necessary. Your pet’s comfort is our top priority. If needed, we can utilize our sedated grooming protocols (which requires a recent exam and may require bloodwork) to ensure a safe, stress-free experience for your pet.
What is included in a standard grooming appointment?
Our full groom includes a standard bath, brush out, haircut or trim, ear cleaning, & nail trim.
Specialty shampoos, deshed treatments, and nail filing are part of our Deluxe package.
How long does a grooming appointment typically take?
The duration varies greatly depending on the pet’s needs and the groomer’s schedule that day. If you require a specific pick-up time, please let us know when scheduling so we can do our best to accommodate. We will give you an estimated pick-up window when you drop off your pet and notify you once they are ready. All pets must be picked up before our office closes at 5:30pm.
What if I am running late for my grooming appointment?
We ask that you arrive no later than 15 minutes past your scheduled drop-off time. If you anticipate running late, please call or text us immediately. This allows your groomer to assess the schedule and determine if we can still accommodate your pet or if we will need to reschedule to avoid impacting other appointments.
Are there any required vaccinations before a grooming appointment?
Yes, for the safety of all our patients and groomers. Dogs must be current on Rabies, DHPP (Distemper), and Bordetella (Kennel Cough). Cats require current Rabies and FVRCP. If your pet is new to us, please provide records prior your scheduled appointment time.
What if my dog has fleas? Do you give flea baths?
For the safety of all patients and to maintain the sanitary environment of our hospital, pets found to have fleas must be immediately isolated and treated. If fleas are discovered during check-in or the groom, we will contact you right away. We are required to administer a safe, fast-acting flea treatment of your choice (1-month or 3-month Bravecto chews, or Bravecto Quantum injectable) to eliminate the parasites. This treatment will be added to your bill. If you decline the necessary treatment, you must pick up your pet immediately, and the appointment will need to be rescheduled.
