Wellness Exam

Given annually, this exam makes sure that your pet is in perfect health! We look at eyes, ears, teeth/mouth, heart and lungs, skin and coat,  and muscles. We also give the required vaccines along with other prevention we may recommend upon scheduling. We also run fecal tests to make sure your pets are in tip top shape inside and out!

Grooming

Our groomer, Cathy, has been grooming for over 30 years and she is now continuing here at Bradford. Grooming days are every Monday Wednesday and Friday. Call us at (913)768-6688 to schedule now!


All pets that come in for grooming must be up to date on all current vaccines and must have an exam done within the last year.
Required vaccines:

  • Rabies
  • DHPP (FVRCP for cats)
  • Bordetella

Recommended vaccines:

  • Leptospirosis 
  • Influenza

Preventative care

Prevention for all pets should be started at eight weeks of age.

For dogs:

  • Rabies 
  • Bordetella
  • Distemper
  • Lepto
  • Canine Influenza
  • Heartworm testing
  • Flea and tick prevention
  • Heartworm and parasite prevention.

For cats:

  • Rabies
  • FVRCP
  • Feline leukemia
  • FIV/FELV testing
  • Flea, tick, heartworm, and parasite prevention


Spay/Neuter/ general surgery

Recommended spaying and neutering at six months old. You may request you pet to be micro-chipped during the surgery for extra protection for your curious furry friend. All surgeries are done with full anesthesia monitoring and with a laser scalpel.

Special diets

From weight problems to kidney issues, sometimes what our pets need is a diet change. We work with Hill's to offer special prescription diet foods that can help your pet. We offer both dry kibble and wet food, with some wet foods having the option between stew and pate. 

Senior Care

     When pets start to get older, it is so important to have regular check ups. For seniors we offer treatments for many ailments that may come your way such as; arthritis, gum disease, hip dysplasia, kidney issues, optic and otic ailments, cancer, diabetes, and more. 

     When the time comes, we will also be there to help your pets find peace. We sedate all animals before the euthanasia to make sure that your pet is comfortable. Pet parents are allowed to be present with their pets the whole time. We offer cremation services and other specialty items so that you my keep your pets close to you even when they're gone.
